A friend asked me recently if I thought I had endless ideas for jewelry designs. In spite of working a full-time job as an orchestra musician, running my jewelry business AND searching around the clock for a job in NY so that I don’t have to live apart from my husband, I never seem to stop thinking about designing. In that spirit, I’ve decided to deliver a design a day here over the next 365 days.
My earring design at left features a .25 ct round brilliant diamond set in platinum, 18K yellow gold, and a citrine briolette.
Check back tomorrow for the next installment!
Good luck! Your creativity is matched only by your ambition. I look forward to seeing what the next day will bring!
And talking with you always seems to spark a creative idea for my blog. Thank you, Jamie!
I am VERY fond of citrines! I see a fusion of modern and Renaissance – great design!
Hi Pam,
I designed this aiming for a more modern look, but I guess my love for the classical still popped up. I owe you a real email. More soon! Joana
hi Joana,
I found your blog today while searching for George A. Schuetz award. I’ve just finished jewelry design course at GIA Taiwan. Your “a design a day” certainly motivated me to capture the ideas in my mind! Thank you, and wish you continue to enjoy designing!
godspeed,
Christina
Hi Christina,
