Last night the weather turned cold and the wind gusted so hard that one of my big pots of impatients on the porch was blown clear off and into the bushes below. Our trash can was threatening to roll down the street into the river and I had to run out and retrieve our drain pipe before it followed suit as well. In one day my hands have turned dry and chapped. Summer is definitely gone and I’ve put my sandals away for good.
My CAD above was inspired by the rustling and blowing of leaves outside. I envisioned my design with patinaed silver and a flush-set diamond at the bottom of each earring. The half-finished earrings are shown below:
