Running my jewelry business while working full-time in another job is nothing short of a challenge.  My schedule today was typical:

8:00 a.m. – Get up; check and respond to pressing email

8:20 – Put toast into toaster

8:20-8:35 – Vacuum shop area to try to scare away any more centipedes lurking there (I killed two large ones last night…Ewww!)

8:35-8:45 – Eat breakfast

8:45 -9:20 – Exercise

9:20 – 9:25 – Finish folding laundry

9:25 – Shower

9:55 – Research a new design I’m doing for a client

10:15 – 10:55 – Review music for today’s Milwaukee Symphony rehearsal

10:55 – Leave for rehearsal

11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. – Rehearse (Thank you Edo De Waart for letting us out 1/2 hour early!)

3:30 -4 – Drive a friend home and drop off a book for my husband at the library

4 – 5 – Update my Etsy shop

5 – 6:15 – Pay bills and research SEO for my blog

6:15 – Start making dinner

6:30- 7:15 – Teach a student

7:15-8 – Finish making dinner and talk to my husband on the phone

8:00 – Eat dinner

8:30 – Start making a pair of cuff links at the bench for a client

9:30 – Set diamonds in yesterday’s Autumn Leaves earrings and polish (Couldn’t get to taking a picture of them yet…that will have to wait ’til tomorrow)

11:00 – Come upstairs to post this blog (yes, the design above was drawn from my archives )

11:30 – TIME TO PLAY (Hah!  Collapse is more like it…)
