With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, it occurred to me that I should think about doing some heart designs. I’m a romantic at heart, but I rarely wear heart jewelry. Too often this type of jewelry seems overly sentimental and often just plain kitsch. Even so, the idea of heart jewelry still appeals to me – I’ve just got to find the right design!
Here is a start:
I like that this “heart” is open yet still embracing. At the same time, the “heartness” of the design is only suggested…a more intriguing statement if you are going to be wearing your heart on your sleeve, or in this case, your lapel!
