Sometimes designs seem great in concept, yet when fully fleshed out end up looking decidedly not-so-great. In this design, done a few years back around a fantasy-cut peridot, the final result looked a little more like a piece of pizza than an elegant pendant. And, the freshwater seed pearls bore an uncanny resemblance to grains of rice!
Perhaps I was hungry when I designed this? In any case, looking back on this rendering and critiquing it helps me to learn from my mistakes and grow.
