How’s this for dedication?
As a result of work being done in our kitchen (including electrical rewiring),
we lost one computer and all internet access today.
Needless to say, after having spent a total of 5 hours on the phone
with tech-service last week trying to get our wireless service reconfigured twice,
my mood today matched the smell of the burned electrical cords behind my husband’s computer.
So, off we went in search of a new modem, adapter and Wi-Fi (thank God for Borders!) so that I could post my design for today.

I had wanted to post some of my work done at the bench from yesterday,
but that will have to wait.
Here, though, is a ring I made for myself recently:

Brinde is the word for prize in Portuguese.
Christmas tradition in Portugal includes the making of a fruit bread with a hidden prize inside.
My father, who loves jewelry as much as I do, always puts a lovely silver charm inside the cake he makes.
When I got the little flower charm it screamed PINKY RING to me…
Charming!
