Sometimes in all of the seriousness of trying to be an adult, running a business while working full-time (not to mention grappling with blended family issues and wondering if I’ll be able to live in the same city as my husband), I lose sight of what it means to have fun.  My mom sent me a bunch of old photos recently.  Among those were a handful from my childhood.  There is hardly a one where I’m not clowning around, laughing and having fun.  This one sums up what I remember best about my upbringing:

a childhood photo - me with ridiculous pigtails

And, my design for today:

Do not take life too seriously.  You will never get out of it alive.

I love the photo and I love the design! They both brought a smile to my face. Thanks, Joana!

    • Hi Amy,

The photo brought a smile to my face, too…and the memory of what it feels to be that happy. That is like my holy grail at this point!

Thanks for reading. I miss you! Joana
