Sometimes in all of the seriousness of trying to be an adult, running a business while working full-time (not to mention grappling with blended family issues and wondering if I’ll be able to live in the same city as my husband), I lose sight of what it means to have fun. My mom sent me a bunch of old photos recently. Among those were a handful from my childhood. There is hardly a one where I’m not clowning around, laughing and having fun. This one sums up what I remember best about my upbringing:
