I won’t bore (or tire) my readers with all of the details of my day yesterday…
suffice to say, that after getting only about 4 hours of sleep,
I felt about 100 years old today.
(I will be advancing a year this week…hopefully, some good sleep and better meals will keep me from looking 100 for a little while longer!)
I did this sketch during the intermission of the concert I played last night with the Milwaukee Symphony up in Green Bay, Wisconsin:

Tomorrow I’ll be embarking on a week-long series of brooch designs dedicated to animals…
(I’ve finally let the cat out of the bag!)
These designs, done in watercolor on black paper, promise to pop off your screen.
Tomorrow’s animal is graceful and quick, and has been known to maintain speeds as high as 50 miles per hour for extended periods of time.
In Arabic literature it often symbolizes female beauty.
Curious? See you tomorrow!
