I’ve played a fun game on occasion with my friends. Its unofficially called “If that person were an animal, what would they be?” (Incidentally, you can substitute vegetables for animals, too.) Sometimes someone clearly stands out as “a bear”, “a wolf”, or “an egret”. Other times, it is harder to peg a person. I’ve been told that I’m a “deer” (and that if I was a vegetable, I’d be an endive!) Maybe its the long thin face and big brown eyes that make for a resemblance. I also tend to to run away more often than stand ground or be confrontational when I’m uncomfortable. That trait was foremost in my mind when I created this golden gazelle brooch rendering:
