I went back to pen and ink for my design today. Even though I’m less experienced with this medium, I find it very satisfying. Perhaps it is the sophistication of working with a quill pen. While mine doesn’t have a feather (its made of plastic with interchangeable nib points), I do have to dip it in ink frequently in order for it to produce a line on the paper. There is no erasing with permanent ink, and no room for indecision. Maybe that is also what I like.
