Today is a milestone of sorts for me.  It is my 265th consecutive day of posting a jewelry design on my blog.  I haven’t missed a day since I started this project, although, a few weeks ago, I did post a design after midnight.  Although I’m already more than two thirds of the way to reaching my goal of posting a year’s worth of daily jewelry designs, today feels significant because I’ve reached the point where I have only 100 more designs remaining to post to reach my goal.

Of course I have many more milestones to reach, both business and personal in nature.  But this project has shown me the benefit of taking little steps.  And the richness that comes from putting yourself out there doing what you love to do.

Today’s design was inspired by someone very dear to me. Sometimes people can be milestones, too; their presence in our lives marking off decades of memories and leaving a lasting influence on our character and our legacies.
