Although I’ve walked to the Bethesda Fountain in New York’s Central Park many times, it was only this past Monday that I really stopped to look at the carvings that decorate the stone fences and stairways.  Here’s what I saw:

A forest with singing birds…

    • Hi Helen,

It’s funny because I never noticed the carvings before. Maybe it’s because there’s usually so much activity (street performers, weddings, etc.) happening around the Bethesda Fountain area. Ironically, that day as I was walking home after having taken those pics, I ran right into the MSO’s Zachary C. He was on his way to play in an orchestra concert at the band shell nearby. Small world, eh?

      Take care –
      Joana
P.s. I liked the picture of you playing in the quartet at Bayshore that was posted in the MSO Quick Notes:-)
