Here’s another of my illustrations inspired by the work of wonderful fashion illustrators.  Today’s inspiration was the Italian-born René Gruau, whose work was characterized by bold black outlines, vibrant colors and both the influence of Japanese drawings and the work of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec.

My illustration was done with ink and watercolor.
