Yes, it’s that time again, so tonight with just an hour to spare, I made a mad dash to 5th Avenue to check out the 2012 holiday windows at Bergdorf’s. I had heard mixed reviews…however, I think the windows are spectacular. With a theatrical flair, these are mini dramas – and they look good both near and far!
Ladies and Gentleman, it’s show time, so step right up!
What you’ll see will defy the imagination (and gravity!)
There will be dancing…
Well-heeled spectators…
And even a live orchestra!
You’ll see animal acts…
Lead by the lovely Lolita!
The stars are attending (Oh my God, are they wearing the same dress?!)…
(And if you look closely, you might even see a “paparazzi” lurking!)
If you didn’t buy your tickets in advance, this show is standing room only…
(A pity, too, since she’s been getting top billing!)
Nearby, exuberant jazz will spill out onto the sidewalk…
(And you’ll have to admit that right-side up, backwards or upside down…they’ve all got style!)
Of course, being a spectator is serious business…
So keep your eyes peeled, because sometimes the best show is going on in the wings!
