Cover of Jennifer L. Scott's book Lessons from Madame Chic 20 Stylish Secrets I learned While Living in Paris

Recently, I’ve been in a frenzy of reading.  While I’m usually always reading something, generally my reading is not what most people would consider “fun” reading.  It’s usually related to what I do…teaching, illustrations, blogging, marketing, or how-to business growth books.

But living nose-to-the grindstone isn’t very good for the creative soul, so I’ve been supplementing my regular reading with more fun stuff of late.  I recently finished and enjoyed Lessons from Madame Chic – 20 Stylish Secrets I Learned While Living in Paris by Jennifer L. Scott…

Lessons from Madame Chic

and, from there plunged into Stieg Larsson’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.  Now into the 3rd novel in Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy, it won’t be long until I’m looking for another good read.

From tips for being a lifestyle  connoisseur to the nitty gritty of mystery and murder…I guess my tastes cover a broad range.  If you have any good book suggestions for my next read, please write in and let me know!

      Hi Martha,

Thanks for the great recommendation! I haven’t read any Jodi Picoult, but her name is certainly familiar. I’ll check out “The Storyteller” for my next read.
