And I had just finished my 22nd Nutcracker performance of the season.
My arms were tired beyond reason,
(Not good for present wrapping, or cookie baking)
But if I said I wasn’t excited, I’d be faking.
Off I went to find the wrapping paper,
So that we could enjoy our champagne and a caper.
Blogging wasn’t really in the plans,
But I wanted to send a message across the lands
To bid my readers a very peaceful night,
and a Christmas full of light!
