When I set out to write down our week’s grocery ingredients yesterday evening, I guess I was a bit hungry…and the first thing that caught my eye was the recipe for Flourless Chocolate Brownies in Nigella Lawson’s cookbook Nigella Express.
All good things seem to start with chocolate…
And when you melt it and add just a touch of butter (ahem…these aren’t “diet” brownies) you get rich, silky goodness!
Add some vanilla, a cup and a half of ground almonds, 3 eggs, chopped walnuts and 30 minutes in the oven, and a pretty pan of brownies emerges!
Let’s see just how ooey-gooey these are, shall we?
