Here are three lovelies who appeared in my sketchbook this week….
The first two sketches were of actual people (on the subway, of course). I was trying to see if I could capture and convey in just a few strokes the different features of these woman. The third sketch was from my imagination – more of a study since I’m currently working on an illustration which shows a woman in profile.
What’s up for this week? Well, a short trip to Block Island, RI, for one -and hopefully lots of sketching time on the ferry on the way there and back. (Let’s hope it’s smooth sailing so that I’m not green at the gills…)
