Central Park’s Conservatory Garden is one of my favorite places to go in any season, although usually the flowers and trees are still in “hibernation mode” around this time of year.

But here’s what I saw today!

pale green new spring buds

pale lilac flowers on a bush in the Conservatory Garden

teeny iris blooms

Little white tree blossoms in early spring

Magnolia blossoms at the Conservatory Garden

      Hi Helen,

I know, isn’t it odd? The tulips in the garden are also well above ground now, although they still have probably a week or two more before they start showing buds. I love spring, but this makes me wonder if we’re not in for a very HOT summer (and I hate the heat!)
