My husband and I love Santa Fe, so when we had the opportunity last week to spend a few days of rest and relaxation there, we leaped at the chance.  The colors of the landscape – sage greens, salmon and turquoise – are so unlike anywhere else I’ve been in the US, and the miles of blue sky and crisp cool air are like a salve for us city folks.   These pictures capture just a bit of the charm.

Enjoy!

      Hi Helen,

No, we didn’t. Does Danis live there full-time now? Did she retire from the MSO? I fantasize about living in Santa Fe, or maybe Burlington, VT – although, of course, both places are quite different from each other. But Santa Fe has the advantage of the dryness, which I love. (No bad hair days there…hee hee!)

I’m off to a long day of rehearsals. Ciao for now! xox – Joana

Thanks so much for your nice comment! I am a big fan of beautiful doors, windows and lampposts….but that’s probably pretty obvious from my post!
