A few days ago as I waited for my husband outside of Lincoln Center, I sketched a young man who seemed to be waiting, too.  For what or for whom, I don’t know, but there was something serene in his waiting.

    To me it seems as though his day went well and he was very pleased with himself so probably waiting for someone was not a big deal because it gave him time to reflect on his day.
