And there were plenty of them on display at the Columbus Avenue Farmer’s Market this past Sunday!
Here’s what caught my eye…
Colorful kale –
Fava beans…
Tomatoes…
Assorted root vegetables…
Assorted squash…
Radishes…
And fresh strawberries.
And what did I buy? A bag of Kettle Corn from the Brooklyn Popcorn food truck which just happened to be stopped nearby. (Popcorn qualifies as an “earthly delight” in my book!)
Ah heaven!!!! I just get so excited when I see all these beautiful veggies!!!
When I visited Paris I fell in love with their markets, everything looked so fresh and delightful, the only problem being… Had no oven or stove to cook with!!! I really enjoy cooking with all things fresh, there is nothing better!
Thanks for the great pics Joana! 😊
Hi Denise, Actually Paris is next! I will be there next week and am looking forward to getting out and about with my camera. We also won’t have a stove or any way to cook, but that won’t stop me from drooling (or eating a croissant or two!) Hope you are having a great week!
