Yes, once again my subjects this week were fellow travelers on the subway!

While this kind-faced gentleman was regaling his seat-mates with stories from his childhood.
Meanwhile, MY seat-mate – a stranger – leaned over when she saw the above sketch and said “It’s beautiful, Miss!” Needless to say, I was tickled with the double compliment.
I like the first one! Plenty of character.

Andy and I will have brunch with his kids (one lives in Brooklyn now and the other is in school at Skidmore) and then we’ll have our own little feast together at night. Nuts start Friday morning – I will have done 5 before the weekend is done! And so it starts…;-)

Thanks so much! I hope you have nice plans for Thanksgiving. It turned much colder and more wintry here in the past few days and we even saw a few flurries…which always helps to set a festive mood! The tree sellers started putting up their tree stands yesterday, which seems early, but I guess there must be a market for them!
