We just got back from a week-long visit to my mom’s cottage in New Hampshire.  Not only did my serotonin levels get a big boost from the addition of Puck, my mom’s new Siamese kitten, (read more here about the benefits of having a cat), but the laughs, swims, walks in nature and, of course, delicious organic whole foods made me feel like I’d taken a healing cure at a spa.

Research suggests that even watching videos of cats can produce calming effects.  I’m not sure that this one will be calming in particular, but it will probably elicit a laugh…
