
If there are times when you want to run from the world doing this…
Then perhaps a dose of solitude is what you may, in fact, need more than anything else!
But to get the healthiest benefit from time spent alone, you should stick to a few guidelines such as these.
High on MY list of solitary recharging activities are:
- Drawing
- Baking
- Walking in nature (though anytime spent outdoors in the fresh air always helps to lift my mood!)
- Photographing the beauty around me
- Taking little cat naps every now and then. (Playing with a REAL cat – or dog, if that’s your thing – is pretty therapeutic, too!)
- Cleaning/De-cluttering
- Meditating
- Taking a hot bath
- Finishing my shower with a cold rinse
- Yoga
