Common wisdom says you can’t change a person.  But I think I’ve found an exception to that rule and you’ll see it in the following Siamese cat pics.  (By the way, the exception to the rule also goes by a shorter name.  It’s called love.)  Case in point – after years of thinking I wasn’t a pet person, I seem to have fallen head over heels for my mom’s cute little Siamese cat.  As you can see in the Siamese cat pics below, little Puck’s got the perfect blend of qualities you’d want in a companion.  For example, he’s:

Handsome and svelte…

Attentive…

Well groomed…

And always willing to meet me halfway!

He also inspires my cartoons and is a (maybe not so) willing participant in my little videos!

I guess you can say…

♥We’re smitten!♥

P.S. This isn’t the first time Puck has inspired my creativity.  I guess you could say he’s a repeat offender!

He’s the best, really. I’m not lying when I say that I wasn’t a pet person before Puck. I liked kittens, but really didn’t like cats. (And dogs scared me.) Puck is now 10 months old (officially a cat) and I love him even MORE! I’d love to get a kitty for our “house”, but until we have a bigger place of our own it’s pretty much out of the question. Boo hoo! We had nice spring-like weather in Oberlin at the beginning of our stay but then it snowed two days ago and turned cold. Any signs of spring in Milwaukee? xox – Joana

And now we’re back in the Big Apple. Sigh. I actually teared up leaving Mr. Puck behind. He’s such a doll and he makes us all happy. (I teared up leaving my mom, too, in case you were wondering.) 😉 I hope things are well with you, Jennifer! A big hug – Joana

Ah, but he’s a little rascal, too. You should have included pix of him dancing on your heads at 4 a.m. Sigh. Darn good thing he’s so adorable (and smart).
    (So are you, btw!)

I think your basement exile isn’t a totally bad idea for a night or two (and put the Scat spray can up on the dresser again.) You can turn it off when he’s not looking and he’ll never know. Poor little Puckie! I miss him …and you just a wee bit, too! xox – J
