I recently promised some cartoon cat-in-action sketches. However, the weather has been hot and humid in New Hampshire these last few days, and, as you can see from the snapshot above, my model hasn’t been in an active mood. Fortunately, my mother is always in “switched on” mode which means I’m never short of great material for cartoon action figure sketches!
Here are a sampling of my latest (mom) cartoon action figure sketches!
When my mom’s not occupied unpacking the new toys she’s ordered for her cat…

She keeps busy repacking the boxes for her pottery customers!

She also gardens, swims, knits, reads and loves to watch animated movies. Best of all, though, she’s never too busy for me and she good-naturedly puts up with all MY demands requests. What a mom!)
In fact, she struck this yoga pose for my action figure project.

You may well wonder how my mother – a card-carrying member of AARP – fuels such a daily non-stop pace. Aside from her humor and zest for life, the only other answer could be…
Her love for chocolate and all things sweet!

P.S. If you’re looking for really good chocolate to fill your own chocolate truck, I highly recommend Hu chocolate bars. They’re absolutely delicious and are made from organic cocoa and non-GMO ingredients. (They are also free of dairy, cane sugar and sugar alcohols.)
Love this!!💋
Thanks, Cindy! We are certainly having a great time with her…and so far, she hasn’t gotten sick of us.

I can see where you get your gorgeous smile!
Aww – thank you! My mom is my best friend. She does drive me nuts at times (I think the feeling is mutual) but we always manage to have a great time together. I do miss my father a lot. He was a lot harder to get along with in some ways, but he had a gentle charm and could be very funny, too. (I take after him physically quite a bit.)
