I’ve been busy at work juggling a bunch of different illustration projects. This is not an excuse per se, but more an explanation for my somewhat sporadic blog postings of late. While there’s lots of fun and exciting news to share in the coming weeks, I’ll start by posting my newest foodie lover Christmas card.
Foodie Lover Christmas Card
About the Illustration
I drew this fun, foodie lover holiday card illustration freehand with my Sailor Fude Nib fountain pen. Then I added watercolor using a limited color palette chosen from my Daniel Smith watercolors. Freehand drawing combined with the looseness of watercolor suits my humorous characters well. Their playful and happy antics are brought to life by vibrant color palettes. My goal is always to amuse and entertain the viewer.
You can purchase this holiday card in my shop at Etsy. The card is available singly, or, you can create a boxed set of holiday cards using this link.
P.S.
If you like the seasonal card above, you might also enjoy seeing some of the other holiday cards I’ve created this season, such as this Merry and Bright card, this dancing elves card, and this cute Happy Holidays card. All of these cards and more are currently available in my shop at Etsy.
I love it. What’s she making? Could it be but bread? I love you, too!
Yes, she’s mixing up a batch of grain-free walnut bread…for you, of course! 🙂
