These days my Christmas shopping list includes gifts for my mom’s cat, Puck. In fact, I seem to have even MORE gift ideas for him than I do for anyone else on my list. (Sorry, Mom!) Then again, nothing on his list costs more than $5.99! I probably won’t go so far as to send him a Siamese cat Christmas card, but that didn’t stop me from creating one to send to my Siamese cat lover friends.

Siamese Cat Christmas Card

Featuring my ink and watercolor illustration, the humorous art shows what I imagine to be a feline version of the classic Christmas poem line “…with sugarplums dancing in their head.”

The Card…

Is now available in my shop at Etsy. As you can see, it reads:

(You can purchase this flat note card singly or create a boxed set of 7 flat note cards using this link.)

And now, a little about my muse…

At 16 months old, he’s now full-grown. But as you can see, he’s still svelte, handsome and incredibly cute. He’s been patiently keeping us company all day in the kitchen as we make pies and the sides for our Thanksgiving feast. What a trooper!

Thanks so much, Jennifer! It’s odd; I thought I had written you back, but maybe I’m losing my marbles? In any case, I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Does the ISO do Nutcrackers? The NYCB Nuts started up today. I was hired last minute for this morning’s rehearsal as well as two shows this weekend. Even though I’ve played zillions of Nuts now, it still feels right to get the holiday season underway with some Nutcracker music. (Of course, this is just Day One…hee-hee!)
