Instead of a Day in the Life of An Artist, I suppose I should retitle this post a Week in the Life of An Artist. Because what a week it’s been! Still, I’ll break last week down into the highlights.
A Day in the Life of An Artist (Sunday)

Juggle reading the fine print in the contract for my newest illustration project with practicing the Dvorak Serenade.
A Day in the Life…(Monday)
Head off to a double rehearsal with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (Not pictured – my mask, banana and power bar.)

Bleary-Eyed (Monday Night)
Spend way too much time recording and then editing this Art Bag Time Saving Tips and Tricks video. My Filamora video editing program seems very user friendly, until its not. (If any of you have experienced sudden missing video segments when using this program, please let me know so that we can commiserate and brainstorm a solution.):
Is It Friday Yet? (Thursday)

I did. Have you?
TGIF!
Record another masterpiece for Youtube.

P.S. Saturday…
Included playing string quartets in Central Park, printing out an Etsy order, and working on multiple spot illustration drafts for my illustration project.
Oh, and did I mention I taught Ziggy to sit? (He’s now mastering Fetch and High Five!)

A double rehearsal? That’s seems highly unusual for nowadays. I’d be interested in hearing what it was like.
Hi Helen,
It was actually a week of double rehearsals (Thursday and Friday had dress rehearsals followed by the two concert tapings.) The NJSO did an exemplary job of thinking of everyone’s safety. I’m glad, too, since I was just reading this week that the cases in Newark are on the rise. Someday this will all be over, but right now that horizon seems VERY far away. Sigh.

Tita and I watched this in bed together. We thought it was great. The radish sounded delish! Xoxo mm and Tita!
I wish I could say that no radishes were harmed in the filming of my video, but I had to eat two of them. Tsk tsk. 😉
I’m glad Tita is a fan of my videos. Has she subscribed yet. Hee-hee!
