Everything CAT seems to be on my mind of late. For sure, our little Toybob cat, Ziggy, is keeping us on our toes. Fortunately, if anything, his recent neutering has left him more energetic, playful and loving. Watching him is both calming and inspiring at the same time. And, as you can see from my most recent drawing videos below, these days I’m even more crazy for cat illustrations!

Not to mention…

That I’ve had fun spending money on some new age appropriate “accessories” for our baby man. The best part? Ziggy’s new BLING only cost $12!

Another of my single panel gag cartoons was recently published in a US women’s magazine! I’ll be sharing a photo of the cartoon along with more information about the publication in the next Joana Miranda Studio newsletter. If you’d like to sign up to be on my email newsletter list, I’d love to have you! You can sign up here. The newsletter goes out towards the end of every month and, in addition to breaking news, it always includes some fun, brand new illustrations and cartoons.

Keeping up with cartooning, illustrating, and being the perfect mother to little Ziggy requires a bit of this…

(When I can, I try to be nice to my husband and clean the house every so often, too.)

I can’t wait to meet my little grandson! Very cute videos, adorable little Ziggy in his bow tie.

    • Joana says:

Ziggy is looking forward to meeting you, too (he told me.) Now, if only we could get Pucky and Titinha to be a welcoming welcome committee…wouldn’t that be nice?

Lovely illustrations! And Congratulations on your new published cartoon, looking forward to seeing it, eventually!

    • Joana says:

      Hi Helen,

Andy and I went to Barnes and Noble today and picked up a copy of the magazine. My cartoon has a place of honor (in my humble opinion) and I look forward to sharing it towards the end of the month. 🙂
