We’re deep into the dog cat days of summer – or so it feels – and I’ll admit that I’ve been feeling slightly less productive of late. Actually, to be honest, that’s not quite true. What is true is that I’ve been experimenting more with my illustrations. Because of that, I’ve been feeling slightly less inclined to post what I’ve created. (‘Cause sometimes you just need to spend time playing in order to get your mojo back!) However, I did put up two new drawing videos this week. Each video is quite different in style, but I think you might enjoy seeing both anyway.

I post my drawing videos every Monday and Friday. If you haven’t subscribed to my channel at YouTube, please do! And, if there’s something you’d like to see me draw, or an illustration topic you’d like me to address, let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear from you!
Ah, alligator clips! I know them well. Love the banana-juggling monkey!
Hi Helen,
Thank you, my dear! I’ve gotten behind on my correspondence (again) but I will remedy that soon. 🙂
I didn’t know that the clips I use are called alligator clips. Now that I’ve decided to grow my hair out into a pixie bob (mostly so that I can have the front longer so that it curls), I’ve been relying on my alligator clips as styling tools while my hair dries. Andy says I’m channeling aliens…

Wow, good use (finally!) for those silly clips. And mr Z looks so comfy and happy! Xoxo mm
The clips also double as idea antennae when I have them on my head….they’re very useful! 😉
