Yup, we’re almost to the night before Christmas! After spending the afternoon wrapping presents today, I turned my attention to my drafting table. While it’s not yet THE night before Christmas, it’s definitely close. In any case, here’s a peek at what an illustrated night before Xmas looks like at our “house.”
An illustrated night before Xmas…
Means that the stockings are hung on the CD bookshelf with care. In this case, the stockings belong to our “babies,” Ziggy and Ollie. (But don’t look too closely since my embroidery handiwork is a tiny bit clutzy.)
Is that an elf trying to get up on a shelf?
An illustrated night before Xmas…
Also means that there might be a creature or two hiding in the cat grass!
(Wow, there must be something special in the grass seed I bought from Chewy!)
Meanwhile…
Not a creature is stirring.

P.S. If you enjoy my illustrations, be sure to tune into my Youtube channel tomorrow for yet another of my drawing videos!
I will never get tired of that sweet photo of Ziggy hugging Ollie after their separation! 🥰
I feel the same way! As I’m typing this, both boys are lying on top of each other on the chair behind my butt. We NEED each other!
Wishing you the merriest of Christmases and all the best for 2022. Can’t wait to see you soon (hopefully!)

My favorite is the mouse sleeping on his cheese wedge, under all the festive lights!
Thank you, my dear friend! I hope you have a wonderful Xmas party tomorrow and that your nights are filled with images of French Broad Chocolates dancing in your head.:-)

It’s going to be a beautiful Christmas with both your babies there.
Absolutely. And thank God they ARE both at home…there is no greater gift!

Yes, indeedy! Every day is beautiful now that the babies are with us.

Ziggy & Ollie love each other! I am glad Ollie is getting better so he can keep Ziggy company.
Yes, they certainly DO love each other. 🙂 I think Ziggy would especially be lost if he didn’t have little Ollie to keep him on his toes. And we’d be very, very sad if we didn’t have them both in our lives. I love you lots!
