Yup, we’re almost to the night before Christmas! After spending the afternoon wrapping presents today, I turned my attention to my drafting table. While it’s not yet THE night before Christmas, it’s definitely close. In any case, here’s a peek at what an illustrated night before Xmas looks like at our “house.”

An illustrated night before Xmas…

Means that the stockings are hung on the CD bookshelf with care. In this case, the stockings belong to our “babies,” Ziggy and Ollie. (But don’t look too closely since my embroidery handiwork is a tiny bit clutzy.)

An illustrated night before Xmas at our house means that the elves are getting into position on the CD shelves!

Is that an elf trying to get up on a shelf?

An illustrated night before Xmas…

Also means that there might be a creature or two hiding in the cat grass!

(Wow, there must be something special in the grass seed I bought from Chewy!)

Meanwhile…

Not a creature is stirring.

I feel the same way! As I’m typing this, both boys are lying on top of each other on the chair behind my butt. We NEED each other!
Wishing you the merriest of Christmases and all the best for 2022. Can’t wait to see you soon (hopefully!)

Yes, they certainly DO love each other. 🙂 I think Ziggy would especially be lost if he didn’t have little Ollie to keep him on his toes. And we’d be very, very sad if we didn’t have them both in our lives. I love you lots!
