Hello friends, it’s certainly been a while! To be honest, I’m still trying to find the right posting “rhythm” between Instagram, my channel at YouTube and this blog. Needless to say, any posting schedule usually goes out the window when I’m performing 8 shows a week. Fortunately, I’m driven to create; so, I’m happy to have the time now to share what’s new from Joana Miranda Studio.

Which is currently available in three different sizes in my shop at Etsy.
Interestingly, when I free-hand drew the illustration, I wasn’t sure if it was “good enough.” But as I recently flipped back through my sketchbooks (as you can see, the pile continues to grow…)
I realized that there were some overlooked “gems.” The soccer girls, in particular, made me smile.
(By the way, one of the girls went rogue and is now dashing across t-shirts, totes and more in my shop at Society6.)
Meanwhile, My Drawing Videos…
Have continued to evolve as well. Figuring out the best way to light and frame the videos has been a bit of my own personal Holy Grail. Suffice to say, sorting out the behind-the-scenes production portion of my drawing videos has been a LONG process. These days, I think I’ve finally settled on the right formula for my needs:
