Joana’s illustrations have been featured multiple times on all 1800 of the #ArtOnLink/LinkNYC kiosks in New York City. The first of these public art installations – Joana’s “I Love NY” series – went up in December 2019 and remained in rotation on the kiosks for a period of two weeks. Most recently, her “Urban Pet” illustration series debuted on October 3rd, 2022 and ran through October 16th, 2022!
Take a look below for a slideshow of Joana’s public art series:

A permanent museum exhibit featuring 18 of Joana’s cotton-themed illustrations is on display in Lubbock, TX at the FiberMax Center for Discovey. A sister exhibit in Raleigh, NC features the same illustrations in a digital format.
All of your work is outstanding…
Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks so much for visiting my site and for your lovely comment. It made my day!
All best wishes,
Joana
I LOVE THESE SO MUCH. they’re really cute
Thank you so much, Mia! That means the world to me. 🙂
All best wishes,
Joana
You have such lovely work. I saw your work in Domestika. 😍
Thank you so much, Cherry! I’m delighted that you took the time to visit my website after seeing my work on Domestika. Which course did you do? I’ve enjoyed doing two courses with Mattias Adolfsson and another with Felix Scheinberger. Both artists are quite different from each other, but I learned a lot from each of them. 🙂 With all best wishes, Joana
Fabulous! Glad you’re once again in the public eye on a big scale.
Hi Helen Dearie, Thank you so much (as always) for being my friend and for cheering me on!!! I was just having coffee outdoors with a friend and two of my illustrations popped up on the kiosks while we were talking. Both times my friend whipped out her phone, but by the time she had focused and aimed for the shot, the illustration had disappeared. (They’re only up for about 5-6 seconds each showing, so you have to be prepared with the phone.) I hope you have a lovely weekend! Is the MSO performing naked (mask-less) now? 🙂 xox – Joana

Hi Jane, So lovely to hear from you, and thank you for your sweet wishes and encouragement! Although I don’t miss the logistics of travel to Nantucket, I’m very sorry that we don’t get to see you! I hope all is well. If you ever do come into the city, please let me know! 🙂 Joana
