In December 2019, Joana created an “I Love NY” ink and watercolor illustration collection. The collection was subsequently featured on all 1800 of the #ArtOnLink/LinkNYC kiosks in New York City. Her “I Love NY” public art remained in a rotating exhibit across the five boroughs for a period of two weeks.

Naturally, Joana’s approach to public art always includes humor:

In addition…

A permanent museum exhibit featuring 18 of Joana’s cotton-themed illustrations is on display in Lubbock, TX at the FiberMax Center for Discovey. In addition, a sister exhibit in Raleigh, NC features the same illustrations in a digital format.

The Cotton Fast Facts wall at the FiberMax Center for Discovery in Lubbock, TX features 18 of Joana's whimsical illustrations.

Thank you so much, Cherry! I’m delighted that you took the time to visit my website after seeing my work on Domestika. Which course did you do? I’ve enjoyed doing two courses with Mattias Adolfsson and another with Felix Scheinberger. Both artists are quite different from each other, but I learned a lot from each of them. 🙂 With all best wishes, Joana
