I did the rendering above for a client a few years back. I then hand carved the wax and sent it out to be cast in 18K yellow gold. Flush-setting the diamond “eye” and prong-setting the emeralds was a challenge for me at the time since I had never prong set stones before. I was happy with the finished result, although my picture-taking skills at that time were a little less sophisticated…
