Central Park's Conservatory Garden is one of my favorite places to go in any season, although usually the flowers and trees are still in "hibernation mode" around this time of year.
Here's what I saw today....
"By all these lovely tokens September days are here, with summer's best of weather and autumn's best of cheer."
(Helen Hunt Jackson)
"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."
(Buddha)
"It is the season now to go about the country high and low, among the lilacs hand in hand, and two by two in fairyland."
(Robert Louis Stevenson)
"There are always flowers for those who want to see them."
(Henri Matisse)
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
(Helen Keller)
The Conservatory Garden at 105th and 5th Avenue in New York's Central Park is a feast for the eyes and nose at this flowering time of year! Inspiration for artists and painters abounds, too!
