There's nothing quite like the vividly alive, pink perfection of a spring ranunculus bloom. The supreme triumph is not one blossom, but a planting of many!
Spring fills me each year with surprise, delight and joy (and, as you can see, I never tire of taking photographs of the flowering trees and blooms either!)
